Xandra Weinbeck received her BSc and MSc degree in Chemical Engineering & Polymer Science. Her career began at AkzoNobel in 2000. Her next career move was at Sekisui; both were active in the R&D of product development and process development. In 2005 she began as interim project manager, were she was P&L responsible in the semiconductor industry, material sciences, solid-state lighting, photovoltaics, sustainability management and consumer electronics. Parallel to this she started her own company to accelerate (biobased) plastic material innovation for a healthier and more sustainable world. In 2015 she entered at DSM as global sustainability portfolio manager and parallel she was representative at the European Chemical Industry Council. In 2016, Xandra obtained an executive MBA from TIAS Business School with a final thesis on time-to-market for bio-based materials. In 2018 she started a new company Innovation Nation, to help start-ups, scale-ups and SME’s to grow.
