The Biorefinery
This project is investigating the bio-valorization of winery industry waste to produce value added products. This could be an innovative strategy to reuse, recycle, and recover potentially useful residues from this waste and will reduce the dependence of the current manufacturing industries on the starting raw materials.
Direct Air Capture and utilization
Making molecules out of carbon dioxide and biomass, currently under investigation in this project. Provide the chemical industry with green building blocks, new raw materials and substances.
Plastic waste to plastic
There are a few methodologies to recycle plastics; mechanical, chemical and thermal. This project is investigating if it is economically viable to do chemical recycling and thermochemical recycling.
